At Phoenix Face we provide care for patients of all ages, from infants who require cleft surgery to adolescents and adults needing corrective jaw surgery and to our geriatric patients who have experienced facial trauma. Dr. Troy Lam is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with specialized expertise in pediatric cleft and craniofacial surgery, corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery, cleft lip and palate repair, pediatric facial surgery, and the management of facial trauma. He provides comprehensive, patient-centered surgical care for children, adolescents, and adults, delivering advanced treatment tailored to each stage of development.
Dr. Lam completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Northern Colorado and obtained his dental degree (DDS) from Stony Brook University. Afterwards, Dr. Lam continued his education at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) where he earned his medical degree (MD) and completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. While in residency, he rotated at UCSF Medical Center, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, and the San Francisco VA Medical Center and received training in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Following residency, Dr. Lam completed a Pediatric Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery fellowship with Pat Ricalde, DDS, MD, FACS, where he trained in the management of craniofacial conditions, including cleft-related procedures and complex orthognathic surgery. Through this advanced training, he developed a commitment to caring for patients across all stages of life, beginning with newborns.
Dr. Lam is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons. He also has earned a PhD in Chemistry from Syracuse University. He founded Phoenix Face, a maxillofacial surgery center committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered surgical care for patients from infancy through adulthood.
Meet our Billing Specialist and OR Coordinator, Meghan Strozzi. She was raised in a small historical mining town called Butte, Montana. Meghan will tell you it’s a magical town with a wealth of heritage and it snows a lot! After high school, Meghan attended college on a softball scholarship at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas. After graduating she decided to move back home, and started her career working for a periodontal and dental implant specialist. Meghan stayed there for seven years.
Meghan is married and blessed with four beautiful boys. She has lived in Kentucky, Alabama, Montana and Arizona. In her free time Meghan’s favorite things are spending time with her family, sports, enjoying the outdoors and some good buffalo wings. Meghan is passionate about helping people and providing amazing care.
